Highlights and Improvements

Hello, at You2Gov, we are working every day to create the best possible user experience for you. We will be continuously rolling out new features to help you take advantage of the extensive political communications tools on our social network platform. We’ve compiled some tips and reminders that we think you will find helpful as you look to connect with other like-minded You2Gov users.

1. Friends Invitation: Registered users can now Invite friends by accessing one’s E-mail list from AOL, Windows Live, Yahoo, Gmail, Outlook, Firefox and others. This is accessed in the left hand user tool bar under “Invite Others.” Invite your friends, family, co-workers and anyone you think would benefit from You2Gov. We have made it really easy to upload all or parts of your address book whether in outlook or through a web based mail service like Google or Yahoo.

2. Groups: If you have registered, you have the ability to start a group about any issue on your mind! One group is already using its platform to get petitions out. Each of you can replicate this by building your own groups, positing relevant information, and getting others involved. The more people that get involved, the more the groups work and the more strength they gain.

3. Calendar: Anyone can view the You2Gov calendar, and registered users can log in and add any event they want to share with the network. We encourage you to make use of this online tool for your group, or issue, or even if you want to upload local political calendars or event calendars.

4. Videos: You2Gov has a very robust system for uploading, categorizing and viewing videos. There are already several dozen humorous videos posted for your viewing pleasure and we encourage you to post your own, which can be easily done by simply adding in a YouTube link.

5. Forum: Everyone can view Forum posts, and registered users can interact and participate. Join in on the conversations – let us know what you think about the various issues being discussed.

Thanks to all of you, and many others, we are seeing tremendous growth in the daily traffic coming to You2Gov and we’ve also seen supportive early press about our services. Thanks again for all of your early support as we continue to grow You2Gov.
